Bucket List: Travel Edition
March 08, 2012The other day, I ran across a list of the top 100 places to visit in the US on MSNBC's Travel page, and it got me thinking about all of the places I would like to visit, both in the US and around the world. Some of these things will more-than-likely never happen, but it doesn't stop me from dreaming that one day Corey & I will be walking among the lions and tigers during an African safari or standing on the mountain that Jesus ascended into Heaven upon. Wouldn't that be awesome?
One thing I will say is living in Kansas and Oklahoma my entire life really makes me appreciate the landscapes and cultures of different places I have visited. It is my ultimate dream that one day, before we're too old, Corey & I can pack up a few of our most treasured things and just leave for as long as we want. Not having a predetermined destination; not having to worry about pleasing bosses or meeting deadlines; not having an agenda. You know, like Kenny Chesney sings about. :) Not because we don't love our families and friends, but simply just because.
Stay in an overwater bungalow in Tahiti, Bora Bora or Fiji.
