A Baby Shower Brunch for a Precious Baby Boy

August 02, 2014

Yay for baby showers!

Today was my sister's baby shower brunch, and little Mason got so much cute stuff!! Of course, the most fun I had was putting the party together, so here are some photos of how everything turned out...

Two days before the shower, I made these pretzel sticks. They were super easy, just time consuming (and I love how you can make these match any color scheme you want). I dipped them into white almond bark and dark blue candies and put sprinkles on them. Too cute.

I made these cupcakes courtesy of this pin, I just left out the blue food coloring. I got a lot of compliments, so I think they were a hit!

The centerpieces consisted of mason jars I already had and a $4 bundle of baby's breath from Sam's.

Hubs' homemade cupcake stand made its debut! So many compliments on this, as well. He did an awesome job, and the cupcakes looked great on it!

Also making their debut were the beverage dispensers I got from Sam's with the cute little chalkboard labels! I love these! And the rubber duckies floating in the blue punch mason jar dispenser...so cute! Also a Pinterest find!

One of the maternity photos I took for my sis and brother-in-law!

The cupcake stand! Thanks Hubs!

The blue velvet cupcakes, also from this pin.

Isn't this just the cutest thing ever?! Thanks to my former high school employer for bringing a cute Pinterest idea to life!

I just love baby's breath in mason jars. So simple and cute.

Be sure to check out the spontaneous maternity photo shoot we had with the balloons–you have to take advantage when helium is expensive!

I hope you got some ideas you can incorporate into your own parties! None of this stuff is hard, but if you put in the extra effort and time, it will be worth it...especially for the person you're throwing the party for.

Be sure to hover over the photo to pin any ideas you like!
