A Thirty-One Launch Party

August 08, 2015

We recently completed our backyard oasis, and it was the perfect time to christen the fab entertainment space with a party! Since I recently became a Thirty-One consultant, I knew this would be the perfect time to kick off my new venture.

Summer afternoons are brutal here in Oklahoma, so if you plan on getting anything done outdoors, you better do it in the morning. Because I wanted to utilize our patio, I decided to host a mid-morning brunch. Muffins, mimosas, friends and shopping: I can't think of a better way to start a weekend!

Below are a few photos of the party set-up. I hope you find inspiration to throw your own brunch party!

For these delicious (and perfectly appropriate!) cookies, I emailed the logo to the local supermarket's bakery. I think they turned out great (and more than 60 percent cheaper than a specialty bakery)!

A minimal spread containing fruit kabobs, muffins, cookies, juice and water (coffee was set up inside).

I LOVE these little plastic flutes. They come in packs of 50 at Hobby Lobby for only $6 – when you use the 40 percent-off coupon,

The "Ordering Station." Here, I placed catalogs, order forms, pens and the monthly special flyer. I also had my website pulled up on my iPad so the customers could see the full array of options (not all available items and prints are in the catalog, but they are all online).

The "Booking Wall" contained information on booking parties. After all, that's the heart of the Thirty-One business. :)

I clipped these booking cards to an old bicycle wheel I found at an antique mall. Here, guests could look at the calendar (below), schedule a party and pick a prize.

Prizes included a headband, bracelet, necklace, earrings and hand lotion.

I also had the hostess special flyer on display.

I LOVE this beverage cart! I'm so glad I was able to use it!

My first Thirty-One party was a success! I can't wait to do it again!
