Bats and Mummies and Ghosts...

October 11, 2012

All of this Halloween excitement has made it very difficult to focus on finishing my final paper for my Master's degree that's due Nov. 1. All I want to do in my downtime is make something I've seen on Pinterest! So what do I do when I need a break from writing? You guessed it...

I make construction paper cut-outs of bats...

...and wrap styrofoam heads with strips of cheesecloth...

...shred cheesecloth to hang on the chandelier (this chandelier is far from being finished)...

...buy some styrofoam boards and enlist Hubs' assistance in making some tombstones...

...make spooky food labels...

...spray-paint branches black from a dead tree behind our backyard and throw them in a vase with some cob web...

...and use a 2 liter bottle, a foam ball, skewers, cheesecloth and lots of
starch to make ghosts.

Don't these projects look fun?! They're so easy, too! To see what else I may be working on, take a look at my Halloween Pinterest page! :)
