I think it's safe to say I hit the jackpot at Hobby Lobby last night and today.

I went just to kill some time, and next thing I know, I'm on the aisle containing the left-overs from the spring and summer goodies with 80 percent-off signs plastered all over the place! Score!
Altogether I have purchased $285.49 worth of items for only $54! I'd be a fool NOT to get this stuff!

As we get closer to finishing our deck, I will be needing all sorts of accents and furnishings to complete it. I decided on a color palette of light blue and bright yellow, and the cushions we found at Garden Ridge last weekend for our built-in bench were the perfect start. They have a little light blue, dark brown and ivory in them. From the looks I've found on Pinterest, the light blue and yellow will compliment each other very well. Needless to say, I was in bargain heaven...I just HAD to share my bargain finds with you!
First, the white and yellow chevron fabric...I found a DIY outdoor area rug project on Pinterest I plan on trying when our deck is finished. For this project, you cover a canvas drop cloth with fabric. In my case, I already have a good size outdoor rug I can use as a base if I want. Either way, I got the piece of fabric (40% off of course) for color comparison purposes. I think it will work perfectly! I hope that project doesn't end up as a Pinterest fail. :(
