Our 8-hours-a-day jobs have gotten in the way of our progress, so we are not quite finished with the pergola yet. We did finish putting up the rafters and after making our sixth–yes, SIXTH–trip to Lowe's, we now have the stain for it and hope to have the rest of the batting up and stained this weekend.

There you have it! Slowly but surely it's coming along. Tomorrow, we're adding additional support in the corners. This will be one sturdy pergola when we're finished with it!
