Favorite Quick Fix
2-Minute Scrambled Egg Breakfast


All you do is spray the inside of a coffee mug with nonstick spray, then crack an egg or two and whisk it (or them) together with about a tablespoon or so of milk until well beaten. Microwave for 1 minute on power level 70. They may look finished on top, but they're still liquidy at the bottom, so give them a little stir. This is where you can add cheddar cheese and anything else that sounds good, then microwave on high for about 20 seconds. Voila!

On another note, I have decided to give up something for Lent, even though I don't have to. I am going to give up all drinks that aren't water. This will be a huge challenge for me because I am addicted to not just sweet tea, but sweet, sweet, sweet tea. Giving up pop or soda isn't that hard for me, but giving up my sweet tea for a while will definitely be hard. Last year I didn't drink a pop for 40 days, and I haven't really felt a strong urge to start drinking it since. Water is something I know I do not get enough of, but can never make myself drink because it's soooo boring and flavorless. I will be leaning on these little puppies for support throughout the next 40 days:


They come in all different flavors (even sweet tea! Jackpot!) and are a delicious addition to a bland boring bottle of blah. The best part? ZERO calories! ZERO grams of sugar! Plus, they fit right in my purse so I can take them with me; this will also save a lot of money when eating out. They are $3.78 at Wal-Mart, but you can buy in bulk at Sam's for cheaper. Great Value also has a cheaper version for $2.78.

This challenge is becoming a little easier all of the sudden.  :)

  1. We have a lot in common...first, that pic of the Hills, Fab! Love The Hills...LC is such a trend setter and is somebody worth looking up too...LOVE that bike! My fave style...and Carrie Underwood - so beautiful! And her music feeds the soul. And Tahiti, I'm packing now...

    Good luck with the water...I drinks lots, but find somedays I can stand the bland taste of nothing. And Sweet Tea...I stay away and go with Diet Cherry Coke and a Reese on the side!

  2. Good luck with giving up tea for lent! Fresh lemon in water tastes good too and has some nice health benefits. Thanks for your post on my blog today! You will love the cococeps if you give them a try. I drink it in the morning in place of coffee now. I put a little milk in a coffee cup, the rest water, then heat it up for 2 minutes and then a scoop of the cococeps.. delish! It's just like hot chocolate but super healthy for you. I'm going to do a post on it soon so stay tuned! And yes, I can't believe that about Vita-mix blenders. Absolutely insane! I heard they're worth it but I just can't imagine spending that much on a blender! Hope you're having a great Monday!!
