A Hocha-good time in Hochatown

March 28, 2017

Y'all know how much we love the hills, forests, rivers and wineries of southeastern Oklahoma. I've lost count of how many times we've been — we even spent our babymoon there in 2015 — and lots of fun activities have popped up in recent years, so we keep going back for more.

We spent a long weekend there in March, and we decided to take our little ginger with us! He took a train ride, visited a petting zoo and nature center, played at the lake and the park, and ate lots of yummy new food!

One thing I'm SO glad we did while we were there was take family photos. We haven't had any taken since Christmas 2015, and I thought this was the perfect place and time. Lacey McDaniel with Wrapped in Lace Photography from Broken Bow did a stellar job in the harsh, midday lighting after a downpour made us reschedule. I can't wait to have even more photos taken next time we're there!

Anyway, here are some photos from our stay in the cutest Hidden Hills cabin, Sunrise Vista, and our weekend exploring Hochatown.

Until our next adventure!
