Y'all know how much I love summer, and I was pretty sad to see it go. We made so many memories this summer and enjoyed a ton of time at home in our awesome backyard, but like all good things, it had to come to an end.
Fall has brought new adventures, and we continue making memories with our little redhead. He has officially reached the point where he knows what to do when I pull out the camera, and that makes this picture-obsessed momma THRILLED. Here are a few fun activities we've done this fall, including our East Coast road trip to Charleston, South Carolina!
Colorado and the Rocky Mountains are a somewhat close destination for Oklahoma travelers looking to escape for a few days, so the landscape probably isn't new to you. It wasn't new to us, but to our 2-year-old visiting for the first time, it was a whole other world.
Y'all know how much we love the hills, forests, rivers and wineries of southeastern Oklahoma. I've lost count of how many times we've been — we even spent our babymoon there in 2015 — and lots of fun activities have popped up in recent years, so we keep going back for more.
Waaaaaay back in June (yes, almost seven months ago), our little Bryson took his first vacation! It wasn't so much a vacation for me, but we all had a great time!
This past weekend, Hubs and I went on a short-and-sweet "staycation" right here in Oklahoma. It not only marked our last getaway as a family of two before our sweet Bryson arrives, but we also used it to celebrate our 10-year dating anniversary. Time sure does fly when you're having fun!
